A new concept of living takes shape in Milan, in the historic district of Lampugnano, chosen to host the 2026 Winter Olympics. This is where Hippodrhome rises: an ambitious 22-storey residential complex designed to combine aesthetics, energy efficiency, and living comfort. The building envelope was entrusted to IVAS, selected as a technical partner thanks to its cross-disciplinary know-how, consolidated over more than 45 years of experience in thermal insulation. The Termok8 system, developed to meet the most complex design requirements, features 20 types and 14 ETA certifications, positioning it among the most complete and reliable solutions on the international market.

The Hippodrhome project, developed by Cantieri Italiani (Gruppo Maresca) and designed by Studio Beretta Associati, features two distinct aesthetic configurations. The base portion, extending over six levels and approximately 6,000 sqm, was built using the Termok8 Modular Big system with 12 cm insulation, combined with a porcelain stoneware cladding in Ceppo di Gré effect (60×120 cm format) for the façades, and wood-look finish (30×120 cm format) for the loggias, achieving a highly impactful aesthetic result. The tower rises from the seventh to the twenty-second floor (about 3,500 sqm) and was insulated with the Termok8 Classico Converto system, also 12 cm thick, finished with a fibre-reinforced acrylic-silicone coating with anti-algae action to ensure maximum durability and resistance to weathering. A complex intervention, supported by precise and continuous technical assistance, covering every phase: from the initial design to the development of specifications, through to on-site support.

To complete the work, IVAS also supplied products for the protection and finishing of non-insulated surfaces – undersides of balconies, edges, and architectural details – using the elastomeric IVASGUM system. For the interior spaces, the decorative finish Metro Materik by Metropolis was chosen, an expression of aesthetic quality and material research.
