On Tuesday 7 September Stefano Bonaccini visited the Ivas Group, operating in the paints and varnishes construction sectors, external insulation systems and facade systems since 1953 with headquarters in San Mauro Pascoli and with distribution throughout Italy, as well as 32 countries around the world.
The visit was organized by Massimo Bulbi and the Mayor Garbuglia to show the President one of the most growing industrial realities in the Region, with results and numbers rather unusual in the Covid era (turnover + 85% compared to 2019 and 2020, +42 new hires in the two-year period 2020 and '21). The President Vincenzo Colonna, his grandson Filippo (CEO) and his son Jacopo (general manager Aliva and member of the Board of Directors) took the opportunity to illustrate to President Bonaccini the ambitious development plans for the companies of the Group, Ivas and Aliva, which include digitalization of processes, automation 4.0, strong investments in Research and Development, green certifications for all products and the construction of a new factory with the consequent creation of new jobs.
"It was a pleasure to meet the Colonna family and the Ivas Group - a remarkable industrial reality - one of the virtuous examples of successful Emiliano Romagnola entrepreneurship, which manages to grow and develop with important numbers despite such a difficult period, which fortunately seems now at the end - Bonaccini said in his speech to all employees - I have been able to see that in this company people are put at the center of projects and talents are valued as they deserve, congratulations and you will see that the years to come will represent an opportunity for growth and unique development for the whole economy of our Region and of Italy in general ".
