San Mauro Pascoli, 27 February 2026 - Filippo Colonna, CEO of Gruppo IVAS, has taken up the position of President of Cortexa. Filippo Colonna has extensive experience in the professional construction sector, which has led him to hold prominent roles in several major companies. Already head of Cortexa’s Advocacy group, he will continue the association project’s commitment to promoting Excellence in ETICS—a principle that has guided Cortexa since its foundation.

I will work hard to continue along the lines set by those who came before me—lines that have inspired Cortexa since its foundation: to spread a culture of high-quality ETICS, supplied as a complete kit by a single manufacturer, featuring an ETA certificate and CE marking, designed in accordance with the UNI/TR 11715 standard and the Cortexa Manual, and installed by operators whose skills are certified in accordance with the UNI 11716 standard,” commented Filippo Colonna, the new President of Cortexa and CEO of Gruppo IVAS. “Energy poverty affecting our country, combined with a building stock that is among the least efficient in Europe in terms of CO2 emissions and energy loss, the social decline of suburban areas and large housing complexes, as well as the challenges posed by the European EPBD IV Directive, outline a context that urgently calls for a new National Buildings Plan. In this scenario, Cortexa will continue to play a leading role so that the entire supply chain (system providers, designers, distributors and retailers) can drive change, and citizens are supported and protected as they improve the performance of their homes, in line with criteria of quality, certification and long-term durability.”
